:- 3.0 out of 5 stars from Kindle Customer -- Don't spend your money. : I love her but this is a fluffy piece, overpriced, not much to it (I read it/looked at it in less than an hour) and even though she claims anyone can do it, she uses stuff I can't afford. We are a family of "curators", and I have always felt meal time, no matter the size of the gathering should be special and festive. Woopie has thrown out some great ideas...not to copy...but rather to think about what you already have, and see ways of including all of it in a table setting. Think themes... I never thought of including the vintage toys, or scattering a gob of flower petals down the table, and let's face it, the petals always fall off of bargain flowers which "used" to annoy me, now I can just scatter them. I normally don’t set a table, however after looking at the book I’ll give it a try, but not with trolls. I love some of her items. I actually have that Santa with the list. I tried to return the book to the seller but they refused my return reason stating they were not representing the author or the publisher Then why are you selling the book? You do have a responsibility to refund me if I didn't feel the book was what it seemed to be. Nice coffee table book if you want to spend the $ for it. Not worth it to me. I’m looking forward to trying out some creative table scapes. I was thrilled to see the turkey set that my mother has for Thanksgiving. That is a beautiful set. I can’t wait to go thrift shopping again... wonderful creative ideas and fun! It is a great coffee table book too! Plus, I always wanted to know how to make clotted cream when I had it in England —- there is a recipe for it. I love making homemade scones, but I feel like I’m ready to go on a whole new adventure at home. Thanks, Whoopi. P.S. - I agree with what you wrote about that elf (adorable)! I guess an Amazon packer got curious. I was not impressed, that this pre-order came with a ripped cover. FYI Amazon employee, some people keep their books!
